Nick The Marketer, LLC is Hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern Near Birmingham, AL
Overview
The purpose of a Nick The Marketer internship is foremost to educate and grow the student based not only on what we want but what they want as well. This intern can work either in person at our NTM office or remotely via Kumospace, collaborating with our production team on client projects. We offer a paid internship at $10 per hour for up to 10 hours weekly, with the option to earn college credit, ensuring a valuable and flexible experience.
Our goals for having an intern in the production department would be to:
- Foster a win-win partnership
- Educate the intern on different marketing strategies and applications and how they play a crucial role in a digital marketing agency
- Prepare them for a career in the ever-changing landscape in digital marketing
- Execute a long-term project to understand a comprehensive marketing approach to digital creative and design
Weekly Responsibilities
This internship will consist of supporting our production marketing team with the following tasks:
- Create graphics using Canva for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for our client accounts
- Write engaging posts and captions to complement the graphics
- Schedule and post content using our social media management tool
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve content and strategy
- Keep up with social media trends and competitor activities
- Organize digital assets for easy access and future use
- Assist with other marketing tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
While we offer comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel as a Social Media Intern, we find that prior experience in some areas can enhance your internship experience.
These skills include:
- Experience with Canva
- Familiarity with social media platforms primarily Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in videography is a plus
